Relevant Experience

As a family therapist, parent educator, and dispute resolution professional, I am trained to help clients deal with strong emotions and prepare for negotiation by learning conflict management strategies. I have assisted many separated and divorcing parents in making decisions regarding their children. I also know how to support children through difficult life changes and make recommendations about their unique needs in legal matters.

I am licensed in Washington State as a Marriage and Family Therapist since 2002, and also locally recognized as a Child Mental Health Specialist and Certified Mentor Mediator. My clinical practice is focused exclusively on helping families reduce conflict by building effective communication habits.

I believe in setting clear goals and expect visible progress after a short series of meetings. Through individual and family sessions, and telephone coaching, I will help you improve your communication, emotion management, and positive parenting skills.
